Chris Kinder joined Sentinel in February 2017 to assist the National Manager, Commercial & Industrial with the day to day management of the department.
A veteran of the industry, Chris first entered the commercial real estate market in 1980 and has been directly involved in the management of many of the most significant commercial assets in the Brisbane, Gold Coast and North Queensland markets. During that time he has held senior managerial positions at CBRE, Savills and Mirvac Group. During his 10 years with Mirvac, a financial institution of some significance, Chris developed excellent financial analytic skills which compliment his wide knowledge of building operations gained during his time working for major agencies.
Neil is the Retail Asset Manager for Sentinel Property Management.
Neil has over 17 years of Retail, Commercial and Industrial experience spanning the United Kingdom and Australia working with some of Australia’s largest companies such as Coles, Westpac and Telstra.
Neil holds a BSc (hons) Land Management degree from Portsmouth University.
Anthony Lloyd has nearly 30 years’ experience designing and managing interior projects in the UK, Europe, South East Asia and Australia across graphic, interior and product design disciplines.
Anthony aids brands to enhance their bottom line through good sensible design and brand management. His expertise has been utilized by a wide variety of retail tenants across and range of categories. Clients have included Florsheim shoes, Camilla, Honey Birdette, Campos Coffee, Harajuku Gyoza, Taking Shape, Go Health Clubs, Spoon Cafes, Toscanis, Priceline, Zarraffas and a variety of medical and dental practices.
In addition to designing and consulting he lectures in design at the Queensland University of Technology.
Rachael Larven joined Sentinel Portfolio Management in November 2015 as Regional Accounts Manager. Since that time, Rachael has been promoted to Commercial Property Manager looking after 10 properties.
Rachael has a strong background in property, administration and accounts and short term leasing. Her extensive experience includes Administration Management and Centre Manager support for large shopping centres, Short Term Leasing for a portfolio of 11 Shopping Centres, Financial reporting and Accounts Payable and Receivable. Throughout Rachael’s career, she has worked for Federation Centres, Retail First and Virgin Australia.
Jason joined Sentinel Property Group in December 2016 as a Commercial Property Manager.
He brings with him 7 years experience in the property industry. Including management of Residential, commercial, industrial and retail properties ranging from state to national portfolios. As well as experience in commercial leasing and sales.
Jason holds Bachelor of Business Management majoring in Real Estate and Development from the University of Queensland.
Josh Aiken joined Sentinel Portfolio Management in September 2016 as Assistant Commercial and Industrial Manager.
In his role, Josh assists the National Manager in Development/Value Adding, Leasing and Portfolio Management of the existing portfolio of C&I and Infrastructure Assets. Prior to Sentinel, Josh worked for 7 years at the global headquarters of Siemens in Berlin and most recently, at Gazit Globe Real Estate in Frankfurt, Germany. In his most recent role as a Property Analyst for Gazit Globe, Josh assisted in the divestment of a portfolio of German supermarket-anchored shopping centers.
Josh holds a Bachelor of International Business majoring in Management from the University of the Sunshine Coast and speaks fluent German.
Rhianna joined Sentinel Portfolio Management in September 2016 as the National Marketing Manager.
Before joining Sentinel Portfolio Management, Rhianna worked for Retail First as a Marketing Assistant at Brookside Shopping Centre and Marketing Manager at Calamvale Central Shopping Centre. She briefly made a change to Marketing Manager at Story Bridge Hotel before popping back up in Retail again. As the National Marketing Manager at Sentinel Portfolio Management she oversees the marketing for 21 shopping centres located around Australia.
Freddy Pittman is the Commercial Property Manager for Sentinel Portfolio Management.
Responsible for the delivery of onsite Operations Management to ensure the safety and comfort of tenants, staff, suppliers, contractors and visitors in a manner which promotes a high level of presentation and customer service to all stakeholders. Freddy has over 10 years’ experience in property services, most recently as Centre Manager for Lend Lease, and previously Regional Manager for Schindler Elevators.
Freddy holds a Bachelor degree and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Matthew has 10 years' experience in operations and facilities management, with the last 5 being in the property industry.
Prior to joining Sentinel Portfolio Management in 2016, Matthew was based on the Gold Coast managing the facilities and marketing activities for a tourist zone retail centre.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business degree with a dual major in Real Estate and Property Development and Marketing, and is currently completing a Masters in Finance.
Christopher has over 5 years experience in the property industry.
Prior to joining Sentinel in 2016, Christopher worked in tenant representation on large national portfolios, both as in-house and for a major property consultant group on behalf of tenants.
Christopher holds a Bachelor of Urban Development majoring in Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology.
Camille joined the Retail Asset team full-time as an Office Administrator in April 2017. She has come from working casually whilst completing her university degree to her first full-time position within Sentinel.
After searching for a position in a role that suited Camille’s interests, the opportunity within Sentinel arose for her to become part of the Retail Asset Team. Due to her interest within the sector Camille now wishes to further her career within the field of Property Management. She wishes to build interpersonal relationships and continue to build her knowledge and skills wherever possible.
Camille completed a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Event and Hotel Management) at Griffith University in the middle of 2016. In addition to this Camille has also completed her Certificate III in Business Administration.
Lisa Johnston Joined Sentinel Property Group in January 2015 in the capacity of Centre Manager of Riverdale Shopping Centre, a newly acquired centre for our group.
Lisa has had 10 years’ experience in Property Management, having worked for Dubbo City Council, and has 15 years of Retail experience.
Prior to joining Sentinel, Melissa has had 9 years’ experience in Property Management and has held a QLD Full Real Estate License for the past 8 years.
Having lived in Emerald for the past 9 years, Melissa has valuable knowledge of the local community.
Alex has acquired a wealth of experience in shopping centres over the last 15 years.
Initially starting as a Marketing Manager at City Cross in Adelaide, he moved into centre management with Hawaiian in Perth after 2 years. The industry has given him the opportunity to live all over Australia where he has worked for Hawaiian Investments, (Perth), Makris Group, (Adelaide), Westfield, (Melbourne and Brisbane), and most recently Savills in Adelaide before venturing up to the Sunshine State again to undertake the role as Centre Manager DFO in Cairns.
Dave Diamond is an Operations Manager for Sentinel Portfolio Management.
Dave has 12 years’ experience as a qualified Carpenter/Joiner in the building industry in Melbourne and three and a half years working with centre operations at the DFO in cairns. He also has one and a half years as an Operations Manager.
With his years working at DFO, he takes great pride in maintaining strong relations with senior staff, tenants and local Council with emphasis on safety and communication.
Jodie joined Sentinel in September 2016 in the role of Administration Assistant.
Jodie looks after reception at the DFO Shopping Centre Management and assists the Centre Manager and Operations Manager. Jodie has several years experience in Office Admin/Manager roles and provides a strong customer first approach to her duties.
With over 18 years’ experience in shopping centre management, Leeann is experienced in property management, property operations, accounting, leasing, retail development projects, facilities management, marketing and Casual leasing.
Prior to joining Sentinel Property Management, Leeann worked with Centro / Federation for 15 years, she has extensive local knowledge and understanding of the local and surrounding catchment areas and trends.
Bernard has over 6 years’ experience as Westside’s Maintenance Supervisor, and has over 30 years’ experience as a qualified tradesman working within the Mining Industry.
Bernard has a hands on approach and has built great working relationships with both Tenants and contractors.
Prior to joining the Sentinel team, Rachel was employed by Federation Centres as Westside Plaza’s Administration Manager.
With 5 years’ in this role, she has gained valuable experience in all areas of administration, marketing, casual mall leasing, operations and centre management. Rachel has lived in Broken Hill her entire life and has worked within the retail Industry for the last 15 years. Rachel has valuable knowledge of the local community & trends.
